Shadows Fall, The Haunted Lined Up For Ozzfest 2005

Century Media recording artists Shadows Fall and the Haunted have secured slots at this year's Ozzfest. Shadows Fall are expected to appear on the main stage while the Haunted are said to be in the mix for the smaller second stage, which will apparently feature more non-rotating slots this summer compared to the last couple of years. Other acts believed to have been selected for the 10-year-anniversary edition of Ozzfest are Black Label Society, Rob Zombie, Killswitch Engage and Mudvayne. Iron Maiden are strongly rumored to have nabbed the co-headlining slot alongside Black Sabbath, who will make a series of European live appearances in June/July prior to the Ozzfest U.S. kick-off. Also expected to perform on the main stage is the "Among the Living" lineup of Anthrax, who have yet to officially confirm their "reunion" plans despite having already been announced for four European festival appearances this spring/summer (Holland's Dynamo Open Air on May 7, Sweden's Sweden Rock on June 9-11, Italy's Gods of Metal on June 11-12 and France's Fury Fest on June 24-26).
Last year's Ozzfest was one of the heaviest in the tour's history, featuring Sabbath, a reunited Judas Priest, Slayer, Slipknot, Lamb of God, Dimmu Borgir, Hatebreed and others.

OK...
I am seeing this list and contemplating NOT spending my 45 dollars on a ticket...
Gay a$$ Phil from B.L.S. p***ed everyone off by calling us fa**ots and whimps so he said and i quote "see if we ever play this f***ing place again". So personally I dont want to see him or his f***ing band. Anthrax is gay, christ the dude has resorted to commenting on I Love the 90's on VH1... you cant get much worse. Mudvayne is the only band that could possibly get me to Ozzfest this year.
Awesome Line-Up would be:
Everytime I Die
Dillinger Escape Plan
Judas Priest (i dont care what you say they were the best band last year)
Mudvayne
Dillinget Escape Plan
Folly
Oh did i mention Dillinger Escape Plan?
Black Sabbath (you know maybe they can play for more than 15 minutes this time)
would a little guns n roses be too much to ask???? lol
CMON AXL!

really u b**** about a death metal band sayin your gay and p***ys you should prob step it up a lil bit. And the bands that would make ozzfest awsome would be Tool (yes they reunited for a new CD this summer) or Megadeath and i would even have to agree with the p***y and say Priest or Mudvayne but leave Anthrax the hell out they sucked since they came out.

The Haunted on Ozzfest? This sounds too good to be true! Altho since they got their first singer back, who does more hardcore-like screaming, I guess they fit a little better.
It's clear that this year's fest is going to bea big one, but now I'm wondering how many slots they'll have left for some real lesser known bands to play their short sets. I mean, I hope we'll get to hear more than 5 songs from The Haunted and Shadows Fall, who each have 3-4 albums out...
