"some music was meant to stay underground..."

Harmony Disorder Calls It Quits

U.K. group Harmony Disorder just issued this announcement online about deciding to officially call it a day:

"This has been a long time coming but here goes. I'm sure it won't come as a shock to anyone to hear that Harmony Disorder is no more.

"There are a lot of contributing factors that have caused this but aside from not being able to find a new drummer, family problems, work commitments, general adult commitments and money troubles... we simply don't have it in us to pick ourselves up anymore.

"When we had to find a replacement guitarist, we fell down, found Mike and picked ourselves back up. Then we lost Pete, the founding drummer. We fell down, found PJ and picked ourselves back up. Then we lost Jack, fell down hard, found Mikki, picked ourselves up and carried on. Then we lost PJ, fell down and stayed down. We certainly tried to replace him and stay on the gig circuit, even recording new material to stay fresh but its time to admit defeat and lay this to rest.

"New members' musical projects will be posted for anyone that's interested. Cole has been in a new band since January, so will be playing shows this Summer under a brand new name so look out for that.

"Thank you to everyone we shared a stage with. Thank you for great vibes, memories and well wishes while on the road, for feeding us and giving us places to sleep. For playing our music, buying our shirts and CDs. We met a lot of friends on this journey and that you will remain.

"To the bands that carry on the struggle while staying true and avoiding the egos, this ones for you. Lastly, a big thank you to Pete, Jack and PJ for the sacrifices you made for the band.

"Cole, Mike, Mikki and Mark. TRUE HEART, TRUE SOUL. Harmony Disorder 2012 - 2016."
