Bereft To Record Full-Length Album
Wisconsin blackened doom metal band Bereft (not the California band of the same name) is excited to announce studio plans in early May to begin recording material for a debut full-length release. This upcoming album is expected out later in the fall of 2016 via Prosthetic Records.
Consisting of Zach Johnson and Alex Linden on guitars/vocals and bassist Cade Gentry, Bereft will make the trek to Backroom Studios in Dover, NJ to begin tracking with producer Kevin Antreassian (Dillinger Escape Plan) on May 17th.
The trio have also enlisted drummer Michael Kadnar (Downfall of Gaia, Black Table) to lend a hand in the studio while the search continues for a full-time drummer.
Gentry commented, “We’re beyond excited to be working with Michael and Kevin and to finally get these songs recorded. This record will be heavier, louder, and bigger and we can’t wait for everyone to hear these songs.”
