Nonpareil Posts New Track "Yuan Xing Jianyu"
Phoenix, Arizona band Nonpareil presents new track "Yuan Xing Jianyu" today, which can be heard below. A gnarly slab of anxiety-ridden noise rock, "Yuan Xing Jianyu" appears on the band's self-released debut EP, "Allergen," due out April 8th.
The song was inspired by frontman Connor Woods' experiences of alienation as an American living in China. "The song details the way it feels to experience a complete nervous breakdown," he says.
Woods is the original vocalist of black metal outfit Abigail Williams. Other members of Nonpareil did time in The Bled, Death of Marat, and Blues. Catch the band live on these dates:
Mar 17 - Mesa, AZ @ The Nile Theatre w/ Intronaut, The Ocean
Apr 9 - Flagstaff, AZ @ The Green Room w/ Sorxe, Father Figures
