Slave I Releasing "Scriptures" Album

Slave I will release "Scriptures" on March 15th, 2016 via Transcending Records and the artwork can be seen below. The record label comments:

"Pieced together via Craigslist in the Fall of 2015, the New Hampshire sextet Slave I has made an immediate impact with a unique brand of extreme metal coined as 'Mandalorian Metal.' Star Wars fans will make the connection between their tongue-in-cheek genre term and their band name (which is of course named after Boba Fett's infamous ship).

|On listening to the band;s debut EP, 'Scriptures,' you'll hear a range of influences spanning the boundaries of black metal, death metal, progressive, technical, etc. The overall takeaway from their sound however, is distinctly Slave I and so Mandalorian Metal it is. Whatever label you care to give them, Slave I is a remarkable young band that sounds tighter and more mature than many bands with 10 times their history.

"The band has already shared the stage with the likes of Within the Ruins, Currents, and A Wake in Providence and will soon add Dying Fetus, Acacia Strain, Black Crown Initiate, Jungle Rot, and more in the spring/summer of 2016. 'Scriptures' is just the beginning of something big."
