Former Budgie Guitarist John Thomas Passes Away

Former Budgie guitarist John Thomas has passed away at the age of sixty three according to his ex bandmate, Steve Williams. No cause of death has been revealed as of yet except that he died last night. Steve Williams paid tribute to the fallen guitarist by stating:

"My friend and fellow Budgie band member John Thomas sadly passed away last night. My thoughts are with the loved ones he left behind."

Thomas had suffered from health issues in the past, including a stroke which led to him leaving Budgie, whom he first joined in 1979. He recorded three albums with the group, "Power Supply," "Nightflight" and "Deliver Us From Evil," and stayed with the band until they broke up in 1998, as well as taking part in reunions in 1995 - 1996 and then again from 1999 - 2002.
