Echelon Signs With Transcending Obscurity Records For New Album
International death metal supergroup Echelon - featuring Hail of Bullets and Paganizer members - has signed on to Transcending Obscurity Records for the upcoming sophomore release.
Guitarist/composer Rogga Johansson commented: "We, Rogga and Dave, are very excited to be contracted by Transcending Obscurity for the second Echelon album. Work has started and so far half the album is written, and arrangments of vocals and drums will take place the coming couple of months. Expect an album that continues after the debut, but with everything more worked through and made harder and more epic. The drums will also be taken care of the awesome Travis Ruvo."
The artwork for the as of yet untitled effort will be created by Mark Riddick (from Transcending Obscurity Records label mates Fetid Zombie). The lineup for the release is:
David Ingram - Vocals (Hail Of Bullets, ex-Bolt Thrower, ex- Benediction)
Rogga Johansson - Guitars (Paganizer, Megascavenger, etc.)
Travis Ruvo - Drums (Cropsy Maniac, ex-Blood Freak, etc.)
Stay tuned for more information.
