In a short Facebook update, Brazilian metal legends Sepultura announced that they have begun work on their next studio album, which is as yet untitled. A statement from the band reads as follows:
"February has been really special. Besides the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Roots, we started writing another chapter in our history. We've just started the writing process of our upcoming album and you'll know every step of it. Stay tuned!"
This will be Sepultura's first full length album since 2013's, "The Mediator Between Head and Hands Must Be the Heart" and their third for Nuclear Blast Records. More information will be revealed as it becomes available.

I agree with you both. "Against" and "Nation" both had some really good songs, but since "Roorback," the band has been on a great run, especially "A-Lex" as Houston said. "Mediator..." I felt took the band to new areas of metal, with a black metal sound lurking in there. I can't wait for this!

Yes! I loved their last album, hopefully the new album will be as good as that one!
