Like Animals Posts "Caterwaul" Music Video

Orillia, ON's deviant melodic math metal band Like Animals has posted a new lyric video for the track "Caterwaul," which can be seen below.

"Caterwaul" is released in support of upcoming EP "Feral," due out on January 22nd and following previous animal-themed EPs "Sweet Whispers, Plagued Ears," "The Undertoad," and "The Wild."

Like a wild animal, each member maintains a sense of chaos through their arpeggio guitar and bass sections, unorthodox drums peppered with dynamic changes, and finally tempered by the wavering vocals soaring just slightly above the instrumentals both in tone and feeling. Lyrics contend with themes such as self-doubt, lack of self-worth, depression, anxiety, and the like.

"We wanted to release 'Caterwaul' next simply because it sort of stands out on its own on the album. It has many style changes and really takes an unexpected turn in the second half of the song. This song is all about mood," comments drummer Will Tennant.
