As The Sky Darkens Posts 2015 Year-End Message

Colorado metalcore band As The Sky Darkens just issued this year-end message to fans and other metal bands:

"As we get closer to the new year, I can't help but think about everything that has brought us to this point as musicians. It's funny how a little musical idea evolves into something much greater.

"Playing music has given us the opportunity to not only play in front of hundreds of people, but it has also given us a chance to grow so many close relationships. Sometimes people tend to forget how it all starts and where you came from.

"You start to see a crumble or a falling apart of what used to be a growing community. Bands and musicians no longer hold the same values, and in return, bands and musicians who are just starting out have nothing to look up to.

"Remember, it all starts with one idea. It's your choice to take that idea and grow with it. The potential is there! Just don't give up on the drive. Nobody said the journey would be easy. New music 2016. Cheers!"
