Guitarist Eric Wolford from California-based band Etched In Stone has issued the following announcement about parting ways with the group:

"I must regretfully inform our fans that i will no longer be a part of etched in stone. As much as i'd like to stick around, i am not in a financial position to do so. So with a heavy heart I must say goodbye. It was fun while it lasted!"

Etched In Stone also had this to say about the situation: "Eric is no longer able to continue on this journey with us. It's very financially, mentally, and physically taxing on everyone trying to make a name for themselves during this era in the music industry and we understand his decision. Losing a member is akin to losing a part of yourself as a whole and Eric's service to this group has been instrumental in us becoming what we are today.

"We will continue to press forward and will STILL be performing the upcoming Sworn to the Black CD release show on the 21st with a fill-in guitarist. After being with us for 2/3 of our existence as a band and sharing countless awesome experiences over the last 6 years he has definitely left some big shoes to fill. Raise a glass in honor of his dedicated service with us and join us in wishing him the best of luck on any future endeavors his talents lead him to!"
