By The Patient Calls It Quits, Announces Final Shows

Copenhagen outfit By The Patient has issued the following announcement about calling it a day and lining up final shows:

"The patient is dead! After 10 years of hard work and fun we're calling it quits. It has been a blast, and we are immensely proud and grateful for all we've accomplished.

"We have released 3 albums and 2 EPs, played Roskilde and Wacken and countless other shows all over Europe. We want to thank all o' ya'll for all the support, especially the people who've been to our shows and bought our stuff. We've had such a great time, but now we all feel that it is time to shut it down and move on.

"The last year we've been signed on Lifeforce and released 'Gehenna' of which we are extremely proud. However, we also believe 'Gehenna' is a great release to end on, and the time is right. Our potential has been reached, and now we're all excited to move on to new adventures and opportunities.

"Thanks for 10 great years and countless great times! See us at our last shows in Aarhus and in Copenhagen on the 27th and 28th of November!"
