The Apex Posts "If Detroit River Could Speak" Music Video
Windsor, ON ghetto tech metal band The Apex today unleashes a music video for "If Detroit River Could Speak" in support of the group's debut self-titled album released earlier this year. Drummer Tyson Taylor comments:
"'If Detroit River Could Speak' is about our local area (Windsor/Detroit) and how our economy has declined. It touches upon how this area was rich with automobile manufacturing and the streets were 'paved with gold' before the decline. It’s a feeling as if the story is being told by Detroit River, which divides these '2 cities of rot.'"
The video is directed and edited by Mike Budinsky of Urban Grind Media and can be viewed below. Catch The Apex live on these tour dates:
Oct 22 - Windsor, ON - Out Cold Fest @ Windsor Beer Exchange
Oct 23 - Guelph, ON - Van Gogh's Ear
Oct 24 - Sudbury, ON - Sudbury Metal Fest @ Sudbury Event Centre
