Kaine Streaming "Justice Injustice" Single, Recruits New Bassist Stephen Ellis
Kaine has a new single online titled "Justice Injustice," which can be heard below. The single was recorded in two days at Threecircles Recording Studio earlier this year and was produced by Ade Hare, who had previously worked on the band's 2012 debut album "Falling Through Freedom." The track was mastered by Z-Plane who had also worked on the band's last album "The Waystone."
The song marks a return to the band's heavier routes with big riffs and harsh vocals provided by front man Rage Sadler, epic lead guitars and solos from lead guitarists Saxon Davids and Ant Murch while being backed by the thunderous rhythm section of Dan Mailer (making his last appearance) on bass and Chris MacKinnon on drums.
Kaine also now announces Stephen Ellis (Drop Dead Fred/Failing to Fly) has joined the band - replacing Mailer - on bass ahead of the preparation for the recording of an upcoming third album to be released on Revival Metal Records.
Stephen Ellis commented: “Kaine has been one of my favourite bands on the local scene for a while. I have played with Chris MacKinnon in one of my other bands (Drop Dead Fred Band) for a few years now and have been supportive of the band throughout. I was originally brought into the band as a temp but I was asked to take the role full time after the first practice, which is very cool. Dan Mailer is obviously going to be a very hard act to follow as that guy is an insane bass player but I will try my hardest to continue his legacy.”
