Scissortooth Streams New Track "Rotting Alive"

Following the stream earlier this month of "Yellowhead" (still available for listening here), Scissortooth has a new track online today titled "Rotting Alive," taken off the upcoming "Novagomorrah" album.

"Novagomorrah" is set to be unleashed through Galy Records on July 28th with pre-orders available at this location.

"Rotting Alive" embodies Bay Area thrash metal from the 80’s and Seattle grunge from the 90’s, while adding raspy vocals over chugging riffs all while questioning the intentions of corporations and the constant push to consume.

“'Rotting Alive' is about the constant bombardment and force feeding of commercials, products and being consumers," comments drummer Shawn Hoskins. The album's full track listing is:

1. Hostile Takeover (5:14)
2. 10 30 (4:21)
3. Slowber (5:42)
4. Yellowhead (3:59)
5. Incision (5:05)
6. Shoegazer (5:20)
7. Common Thread (5:24)
8. Rotting Alive (4:38)
9. Nova Gomorrah (8:12)
10. Rats (4:48)
11. Wormwood (5:39)
