Italian doom metal act Crimson Dawn, featuring Drakkar guitarist Dario Beretta and Betoken vocalist Antonio Pecere, will issue a new EP this fall entitled "At the Cemetary Gates." This is the follow up to the 2013 debut full length "In Strange Aeons..." (reviewed here).

"At the Cemetery Gates" will be issued towards the end of September/beginning of November. It will be recorded once again by Mat Stancioiu at Elnor Studio, who also recorded "In Strange Aeons...," and it will contain three brand new tracks and a bonus track.

The band commented: "We are very proud of the work we've done on this EP, which continues our epic journey into the mystical realms of dark fantasy. Once more, we let our imagination run wild to create songs that bear our trademark mixture of epic, doom, progressive and traditional metal. We hope you will enjoy them as much as we do, and that the EP will be a great appetizer before our second full-length album which we aim to release in 2016."

More news on the album is expected over the next couple of months.
