Grindcore veterans Pig Destroyer will be re-releasing their 2001 album "Prowler In The Yard", coming as a new deluxe 2-CD set scheduled for September 04th via Relapse. The effort has been fully re-mixed and remastered by guitarist/engineer Scott Hull.

Just listened to this album end to end (on the relatively short commute home) and still love it.
Ordinarily I get excited about a remix/remaster when it's called for, and this album could definitely benefit...
But given the genre, I don't know how badly I want the rust polished for fear of dulling the edges. Hopefully they stream it in fairly lossless fashion at some point.
