Blow The Scene Hosting PAWS Benefit Show In July
Next week, Philadelphia-based underground music, arts, and activism webzine Blow The Scene will host its annual benefit show for PAWS -- the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society -- with a wide array of artists set to perform and a wealth of other activities confirmed.
Blow The Scene Presents A Night of Music / Art & Animal Love, set to take place next Friday, July 10th at The Pharmacy in South Philly. Sponsored by Psychics.com, Earsplit PR and Sit & Spin Records, the show will be used to collect donations to aid PAWS and will include live performances from Mother Brain (Long Island grindcore champs), Gut Feeling (North Carolina hardcore act with members of Catharsis, Undying and more), Grin And Bear It (Cleveland powerhouse PV/punk), Dying (Philly XVX hardcore), Die Choking (Philly hyper grinders) and Drones For Queens (Philly shredders).
Additionally, an art show is part of the benefit, where many artists from all over the world are donating art prints that will be on display and for sale at this cash and carry event curated by Ryann Casey. Attendees will be able purchase rad art pieces for very reasonable prices. For full details, head over to this location.
