Avulsed Lays Down A Sacrifice On The "Altar Of Disembowlment"

Two years after "Ritual Zombi," the Spanish death metal mongers from Avulsed return with a new recording - a five song EP entitled "Altar of Disembowelment" that marks the band's recording debut with new drummer Erik Raya.

Stylistically, "Altar of Disembowelment" continues the unmistakeable sound of Avulsed, forged over almost 25 years, but this time a bit heavier and darker than before. The EP was recorded in three different studios and mixed at Overhead Studios by Raúl Fournier "Furni," the ex-drummer of Avulsed between 1994-2004 for a later mastering at Unisound Studios by Dan Swanö.

Besides four original songs, the EP also includes a cover of Black Sabbath's "Neon Knight" that was initially recorded in late 2010 for a tribute album to Dio, re-recorded for this release. Due out September 9th, the track listing is:

1. To Sacrifice and Devour
2. Red Viscera Serology
3. Ceremony of Impalement
4. Tremble in the Darkness
5. Neon Knights (Black Sabbath)
