Prowler Posts "Pet Sematary" Ramones Cover

To be featured on forthcoming second full-length album "From The Shadows," South Carolina thrashers Prowler posted a new single and tribute to iconic punk rock outfit The Ramones. Check out "Pet Sematary" below.

The band comments: "This is the perfect punk song for us as a band to cover and crossover (punk metal) being that we write songs about classic horror movies. 'Pet Sematary' the movie, by Stephen King, is a classic in itself and since the last original Ramones member, Tommy, passed away back in 2014, we figured what a perfect tribute to give to the band that basically defined the punk rock sound, The Ramones!

"The Ramones influenced not just only the punk genre, but metal and other genres as well with their melodic and hooky choruses along with the raw energetic, distorted, blistering sound of their early years. All of us in Prowler are influenced by The Ramones in our own way musically. That raw live feel comes out in our live music as well as on our records. So what better song for us to cover than 'Pet Sematary'? We sincerely hope that Ramones fans will appreciate our version just as much as the classic!"
