David Vincent Denies Rumors He Split With Morbid Angel

After a statement was posted online by Morbid Angel indicating Trey Azagthoth and Steve Tucker were working on new music, several news outlets reported that meant front man David Vincent had been booted from Morbid Angel. The statement in question read as follows:

"Update! Trey is excited to announce that he and Steve Tucker are working together again for Morbid Angel and the next record will certainly be an amazingly sick world beater. Hi5!"

Through his publicist, Morbid Angel's David Vincent now issues the following statement about the situation:

"I am aware of Trey Azagthoth's announcement of a collaboration with Steve Tucker on new music. However, the inference that I have left Morbid Angel is incorrect. To be clear, I have not left Morbid Angel nor have I been asked to do so."
