Meadows End Streaming "Soulslain" Track

Meadows End has now unleashed the fifth track in the monthly "Sojourn" series - check out "Soulslain" below. The band also comments:
"Song number 5 in the 'Sojourn' saga bears a special emotional and nostalgic mark in the history of Meadows End. The year was 2001, the enthusiasm and drive was lost. Our two main songwriters JD and Henrik Näslund, our keyboard player at the time, was focusing on their studies.
"Drummer Daniel Nordlund had already lost interest and left the band. Vocalist Anders Rödin became unsure if he wanted to continue at all.
"Everything was falling behind and Meadows End was about to dissolve. After a while Hel got frustrated that nothing happened and told that he would leave the band as well. That's when the warning bells rang that this project that we all cared so much for would fall into nothingness.
"We decided it was time to gather and talk things through. We all felt that this was too good and too much fun to just throw away. Fortunately we had some cool riffs lying around and during a weekend with acoustic guitars, a piano and our good company we wrote 'Soulslain.'
"So this song always reminds us of how much this band really matters to us, of all the fun we have together and the joy of writing and playing music together that we appreciate ourselves.
"Then and there we learned a lot. Don't quit, believe in what you do and most of all, don't forget to have fun."
