Irish prog metal band Shardborne has released a new studio video diary online showcasing the bass and guitar recordings for upcoming album "Living Bridges."
The album, recorded entirely by Shardborne’s Ciaran Culhane and Ben Wanders, went on to be mixed and mastered at The Basement Recording Studios in North Carolina under the experienced eye of Jamie King.
The band comments on working with the renowned producer: “We made a short list of engineers that we had in mind to mix the album, and after talking to a few we decided to ask Jamie King if he would do it. We love the work he had done for bands such as Between the Buried and Me and Scale the Summit, and he seemed like a perfect fit. We were thrilled with how it came out and with the work he did.”
"Living Bridges," which features artwork by Duncan Storr, is set for release on 10th July via Out On A Limb Records and is the band’s follow-up to the 2011 "Aeonian Sequence" EP.
