Kingcrow Releases "The Moth" Animated Video
With the release of "Eidos," the sixth studio full-length from Italian progressive metal troupe Kingcrow nearing release next month through Sensory Records, the first single has been released through an official video for the track "The Moth." Check it out below.
Showcasing the Rome-based Kingcrow sextet's expansive take on forward-thinking metal in a completely different approach than ever before, the video for "The Moth" was created in a unique animated style by Argentinean artist Gastón Viñas, widely known for his similarly-styled works for Radiohead, including videos for their songs "2+2=5" and "A Wolf At The Door."
Issues band guitarist/backing vocalist Diego Cafolla about the song: "When we started to think about the first single, 'The Moth' seemed the obvious choice to us since it's short, busy and quite catchy at the same time and shows also some new ingredients to our sound... I was listening to a Radiohead playlist on YouTube when this animated video (for the song '2+2=5') popped up and I found it terrific and mesmerizing... I contacted Gastón Viñas, the author of the animation, just to tell him how much I appreciated his art...he wrote me back that he listened and loved Kingcrow's music and that's how it started. I gave him some inputs about the album concept, the artwork and the song's lyrics and he came out with another brilliant piece of art!"
