Frontline Calling It Quits, Announces Final Shows
Glasgow's Frontline has issued the following announcement about deciding to call it a day:
"So, as a band we've been talking about this for a while, and recently things haven't exactly being going our way, and we've felt like the flame is slowly burning out. So, it comes with great sadness for me to announce that Frontline will be ending soon.
"We formed this band 4 years ago, we've achieved a lot to be proud of in our time and we have a lot of people to thank for helping us along the way. But, unfortunately, things have been slowing down for us and we feel now is a good time for things to end.
"We're currently sitting on 3 new songs that we're still going to release, probably in the next couple of weeks online, and with a physical release to follow. We're not doing this for us, to make money before the ship goes down, but rather we're doing it for anyone who's supported us to pick up one last release off of us.
"We want to thank anyone who supported us, anyone who came to a show, anyone who booked us a show or a tour, all of the bands we played with, everyone who picked up a tshirt or a record, all the friends we have made from being a part of this band.
"I want to thank our past and present members. We all have other bands you should be checking out. Check out Adjust, Revulsion, and Machete 187.
"Specifically I want to thank Ross Wilson and Thanks for Nothing Records (R.I.P.) for releasing everything we've ever done, Steven Hill for designing every album cover and tshirt design, and Kieran Murphy at KJM Bookings (R.I.P.) for booking us some impressive tours in the past.
"Our last two shows will be the Rucktion fest in London on the 4th of July and Merauder in Glasgow on the 5th. Catch us at one of those shows for one last time."
