Lycia Streaming Record Store Day Track "Silver Leaf"

Today Cvlt Nation kicks off the weekend with the cathartic resonance of Lycia's "Silver Leaf." The airy psalm comes off the band's limited edition, split seven-inch with Black Mare, set for release tomorrow via Magic Bullet Records in honor of Record Store Day.

Hailing from Mesa, Arizona, Lycia was initially forged back in the late '80s and '90s, confounding ears with ethereal darkwave sound conjurings. Heavily reverbed guitars, dark, wraithlike keyboard tones, and ominous programmed drums pushed the gothic scene forward as their music inspired Nine Inch Nails, Type O Negative, and many within tangential dark, industrial circles.
