My America Posts "Misses" Recording Footage

My America has teamed with Substream Magazine to present a video clip showing behind-the-scenes action from the recording of new album "Misses." Check it out below.

The Brooklyn trio's second full-length, "Misses" was recorded with producer Kevin Bernsten (Full of Hell, Magrudergrind) at Developing Nations in Baltimore, MD and is currently being mastered by Brad Boatright (Nails, Code Orange) at Audiosiege.

As frontman Matt Turner states, "After playing music together for over ten years I feel like we finally have something that's truly representative of us... This the record I've wanted us to release for a long time."

Before stripping down to its current three-piece lineup, My America was a quartet called My America Is Watching Tigers Die that toured the nation throughout the '00s and put out several releases, most notable 2009's "Stone Age" LP on Pluto Records.
