Apophys Streaming New Track "Miscreants"
Apophys' "Prime Incursion" full-length release is slated to slay the masses via Metal Blade Records next month.
Mixed by vocalist Kevin Quilligan and mastered by Stefano Morabito at 16th Cellar Studio (Fleshgod Apocalypse, Hour Of Penance etc.), the record boasts nine vicious hymns of sci-fi-tinged death metal centered on themes ranging from transcendental travel, rapid evolutionary progression, global epidemics, and artificial intelligence in all-out war with their makers.
In celebration of its release, today brutality portal No Clean Singing is hosting second cut, "Miscreants," for public broadcast. Listen in below. Comments the band of the latest single:
"'Miscreants' tells a tale about experimental creation. The song develops itself around this story. First there is the experiment, lead on by a grooving start. Then there is the realization of failure; the experiment has gone horribly wrong. The last phase is the destruction of the experiment. Lead by a furious, blast beat-ridden climax to end."
