Entrapment Inks Deal With Pulverised Records

The Dutch diabolists from Entrapment have inked a worldwide deal with Pulverised Records to inflict devastation and terror with the arrival of the third as-yet-untitled full-length. The label comments:

"With the group's last effort 'Lamentations Of The Flesh' released almost a year ago, Entrapment head-honcho Michel Jonker wasted no time churning out new morbid tunes which promises to be the band's most definitive work to date.

"Work on the new album has already begun and Entrapent is set to enter Aborted's bass-player JB Van Der Wal's studio for all tracking, mixing and mastering duties, as well as also showcasing the masterful artwork of Marald Van Haaasteren (Bolt Thrower, High On Fire, Wolfbrigade, etc)."

States Entrapment main-man Michel Jonker: "We’re very excited about collaborating with Pulverised Records, for still being music freaks ourselves it’s a pleasure to be listed on their roster among some great bands. Pulverised have released many essential newer death metal releases and it feels like the right move have them be in charge of the spreading of our own rotten visions on metal.

"Though Entrapment started out as a solo project, the atmosphere and inspiration of performing live found their way into the new material and the upcoming album will mark another step forward in the band’s career and musical exploration. Sheer nihilistic aggression mixed with slower immersive sections of lament will show Entrapment holding their grip in the ever faster moving and changing death metal scene."

Pulverised Records label manager Roy Yeo further commented: "We have obviously heard so much about Entrapment prior to our cooperation and having heard the band's last album, it was easy to understand why Entrapment stood out amongst their peers; Entrapment displayed a strong grasp in the songwriting department and their knack for making songs come alive with sheer catchiness without ever sacrificing the vibe of the ruthless early nineties death metal that the world have come to embrace again!"
