War Master Recruits New Drummer Dobber Beverly

Houston death machine War Master is once again rolling. Bassist Trans Am has returned from an extensive tour with Goatwhore and the band has enlisted Dobber Beverly as its new drummer to fill in the void left by Jon West.

Beverly's entrance into the band marks a reunion with ex-Insect Warfare members Rahi Germifar and Neal Dossey. He also has played in numerous underground Texas bands including Demoniacal Genuflection, Oceans of Slumber, Viral Load, Images of Violence and Sect of Execration. Beverly comments on joining the group:

"I ran into Rahi at a show and he asked me if I was interested in jamming some old school death metal, and at the time I didn't have any space in my schedule for it. Fast forward a few months and they were still without a drummer. Neal and Rahi then talked to me about helping them write new material, I'm a guitarist too, and I said 'hell yeah.'"

The band is hard at work on two new songs for the tentatively titled "Primitive Evil" demo cassette, with the first rehearsal on the first day of the winter solstice, the darkest day of the year. The new material is expected to show the group at its fastest.
