Mexican Ape-Lord Recording New Album

Mexican Ape-Lord has begun work on a follow-up record to "The Late Heavy Bombardment." The group had this to say:

"After three surgeries and over 100 therapy sessions, guitarist/songwriter Anthony Nichols, who broke his wrist in December 2013, has regained most of his metal guitar chops and is looking forward to making a 2nd Mexican Ape-Lord record.

"He and drummer Steve Fry will be working on the core of the songs at Sherwood Forest Studio in Bedford, MA, preparing new material for singer/bassist Jon Hardy and lead guitarist Dan Dykes. The band has also brought back producer Peter Rutcho to track and mix the new record."
