Longing running death metal band Obituary has checked in with the following new year message about celebrating 30 years of brutality:
"January 1st, 2015 - is that true? Holy crap is time flying by...
"It's hard to believe we started this band in 1985 in my moms house as teenagers just wanting to jam. Here we are 30 years later and going at it harder and stronger than ever. Thanks to you we are still doing it and having a blast.
"This will be a very busy year for us and we are looking forward to meeting all of you guys when we come thru your town or at one of the festivals we will be playing in support of Inked In Blood.
"Hope you are jamming the New Songs and again THANK YOU for listening to and loving Obituary!
