A Light Within Announces New Single "Between Shores"
The Kansas City-based shoegaze post-metallers from A Light Within are proud to announce a new single is due to arrive next month.
“Between Shores” marks a departure from the band's previously Deftones-tinged material on the "Preface" EP into a much gloomier and more mournful direction. Vocalist Kyle Brandt's voice has shifted accordingly, taking on a somber yet dulcet baritone to complement the swelling chords and soft tremolo, with expansive ambient soundscapes to sweep the listener along.
The track rounds out the band's upcoming as-yet-untitled EP, due for release in late April 2015. In the mean time, check out the full "Preface" release below.
