Inquisition Re-Releasing Albums Through Season Of Mist

Season Of Mist has checked in with the following announcement about re-releasing albums from Inquisition:

"Inquisition is now revealing the artwork of the reissue of the highly praised sophomore full-length 'Invoking the Majestic Throne of Satan,' which has been scheduled for release on February 23rd, 2015 (one day later in North America).

"This is part of Season of Mist exclusively releasing the official catalogue of the US black metal prodigies. Only the releases via Season of Mist are official. Every other edition is nothing but a bootleg and theft against the artist. The only notable exceptions are the US versions by American label Hells Headbangers Records. These will be replaced by Season of Mist editions at a later point in time.

"'Invoking the Majestic Throne of Satan' will come as all reissues will with new artwork by the renowned artist Paolo Girardi, who already created the cover art for Inquisition's latest album 'Obscure Verses For The Multiverse' (2013). The original artwork will be included as well with each re-release. Girardi's covers are part of an overarching concept and should be seen in conjunction. More details about his mysterious work will be revealed with the final re-release."

The track listing for "Invoking the Majestic Throne of Satan" is as follows:

1. Embraced by the Unholy Powers of Death and Destruction
2. Enshrouded by Cryptic Temples of the Cult

6. Hail the King of All Heathens
7. The Realm of Shadows Shall Forever Reign

1. Unholy Magic Attack
2. Those Of The Night

Why would Inquisition re-release Invoking the majestic throne of Satan again? They just 're-released it thru HHR? This cover by Paolo does not fit the concept of the album. Both covers Paolo did look almost identical and nothing to do with the album's. The Ereshkigal artwork for Invoking is untouchable. She and her artwork were least was in touch with with the meaning of the title and album of invoking. Paolos cover looks like some gubbert lost in a cave. I have lost respect for Inquisition.

Agreed! If you look at the original and 're release artwork of invoking the majestic throne of Satan, it fits the title and album perfectly. The cover done by Paolo is a joke. Nothing to do with what the album represents. The original cover is satanic and to the point, that is what this album is about, Satanism and cult. There is nothing cult or satanic about Paolos art cover. I think in my personal opinion, this Ereshkigal artist should've been Inquisitions primary artist. Not sure if any of you have seen her other art? Truly satanic and blasphemous! Kramer and Paolo fall short to her incredible Satan worship art. Good luck inquisition , I think you've lost a lot of the true worshippers that once followed you. Welcome all your new mainstream band wagon riders!

Kramer is a good artist but there was always something about the invoking cover art that differentiates from the rest. The Ereshkingal artwork really transpired the cult message of the album. Cult artist! Kramers art was too colorful for Inquisition in my opinion.

Have you seen her other cover art? She's done several covers for black metal bands. Whoa! The covers she's done for Surrender of divinity , truly bad a$$ and satanic.

I agree with the new invoking cover, it's not for Inquisition. It's good but nothing to do with invoking the throne of Satan. He looks lost.

Selling out! They are the next Behemoth. Next thing you know, they'll have Paolo's gubbert lost in a cave picking flowers on the next album cover. Come on people they are milking these 2 cult releases because they can't put out anything else that is good! 're releasing the same album back to back is pointless. HHR release is kult!
