Curse The Gods Announces "Siege Of Scirehaven" Release

Cleveland-based melodic death metal band Curse the Gods is releasing second album, "Siege of Scirehaven," on November 29th.

A promo video entitled "Treasures of the Thicket" is now online for the release, featuring a humorous skit with guitarist Matt Webb hunting for a chest by moonlight. The end of the video, available below, provides a tease of audio from the new album.

"Curse the Gods" have been active since 2009, releasing debut album "Seeking the Frostfire" in 2011. The new release will continue telling a conceptual story that began with the first album, essentially a tongue-in-cheek mythology created by the band featuring gods, dragons, enchanted swords, and other fantastical elements that excite the nerd within us. A demo from the new album can also be heard after the video clip.
