Sleepwave Posts Full "Broken Compass" Album

Sleepwave - the new band from former Underoath singer Spencer Chamberlain and Stephen Bowman - releases debut album "Broken Compass" on September 16th via Epitaph Records. The album is available in full below, courtesy of Altpress.com.

Chamberlain and Bowman gravitated toward one another several years ago, based on their mutual appreciation of bands like Alice in Chains, Soundgarden and Filter. "Broken Compass" was produced by David Bendeth (Bring Me The Horizon, Of Mice & Men, All Time Low) and it combines their mutual interests as they deliver the grungy side of rock music through the lens of classic song structure and melody.

Chamberlain states, “Sleepwave is heavy and aggressive, but there’s a lot more to explore….There’s a somber overtone to the album, there’s a lot of sadness, but there is also some hope. Not everyone will love Sleepwave…but if you are upsetting people, they're still responding emotionally all the same.”
