The Finnish outfit Edge Of Haze is gearing up to release new album "Illumine" on August 21st, 2014.
As a teaser leading up to that release, today we've teamed up with the band to exclusively premiere the new "Crushed" music video. The clip, available below, was directed and edited by Markus Hentunen, with additional filming and directing by Olli Kiikkilä.
The "Crushed" track was recorded and mixed by Tuomas Yli-Jaskari (Tracedawn) at Sonic Pump Studios in Helsinki, Finland and mastering was handled by Acle Kahney (TesseracT) at 4D Sounds in Brighton, UK. You can pick up the single at iTunes. Edge Of Haze also comments:
"In the video we wanted to showcase especially the dystopia theme and empathize the protagonist on the album. We are citizens, barren souls under authority, desperately trying to find light in the surroundings both figuratively and literally.
"The importance of light goes hand in hand between the album (title) and the video. In the video we need to illumine the room of our secret society to be able to escape. In the album it is an individual attempt of taking control over one's own life. Either way the idea of finding yourself, the light, is what we want to signal via the song."
