i used to like them. untill they changed their
make-up, and their music started to suck a bit.
but, i say, they were a pretty ok band "back in the day."

Mudvayne is now better then they ever were, they dont need make-up. They've come out of that shell. I hope they stick around longer.

first and foremost i don't think any of our mom's would say that.
and second they look kind of like aliens now. the only new song, if you want to call it new, that i like by them is "World So Cold".

jeez, your like everyone else on this site marinechick! a band puts out a different sounding album and you ditch them. it's called "growth". and it's what happens when a band or artists decides to do something different to see if they and their fans like it.
just because they changed their look doesn't mean anything either. i like them just the same. same thing with cradle of filth, if dani filth one day decided to not wear the makeup and chains, i'd be ok with that. another example, cher has changed her look and music about a million times and people still like her.

and everyone yells about Metallica this way too! first the haircuts, now st. anger. shut up about them, they tried something different, it worked to an extent with the fans, obviously no one here likes it but me. but all in all, they did something. they could have waited to do it and it would have turned into a chinese democracy sort-of thing but they did what they wanted to do, and that's ok.

No, I enjoy change when it's a progression, it's when bands regress that change annoys me.

And FYI, I preferred Mudvayne second album.
