Strychnia Issues New Album Update
New Jersey's Strychnia has checked in with the following update about working on a new album:
"With summer quickly approaching, we thought it would be a good time for us to let you all know what we've been up to lately. If you guys thought we were planning to slow down its actually quite the opposite.
"We've been locked up in our death metal laboratory for most of the year so far where Rory and Frank are writing what will become songs for whats looking like a new full length album! We are about halfway through the writing process as of now and things are really sounding BIG so far.
"The new music is sort of a combination of old and new Strychnia styles while pushing ourselves into even more brutal, technical, melodic, and epic sounds. At this point we'll be picking up speed with the writing process and then moving on into the demoing process, lyrics, working titles, pre-production, artwork, and all that fun stuff.
"We're also still in the process of bringing in another special guest artist on one of the new album tracks! If you enjoyed John Gallagher on the EP last year then we promise you won't be disappointed this time around either.
"From now on we'll also be making sure to bring you guys a lot more updates relating to the new album and everything were working on. Thanks again to everyone who is a fan of this band for the undying support! Until next time, you know what to do. Show us some love and likes for new brutality in 2014!"
The band's previous EP "Reanimated Monstrosity" can also be heard in the Bandcamp player below.
