In defense of this bill, you look at it and its a mix of different genres metal/rock which is the key to drawing more people to come out, to the diehard, ballsout no nonsense metal fans this bill outside ccorpse wont due, but if you look at the history of mayhem festival top to bottom bill wise they really have never had \m/ list of bands for a tour, maybe a few years back that one time when slayer, cannibal corpse and motorhead were on the bill, but this is a festival that has proven its gonna bring a mixture of sorts and its not always gonna be those badazz bands you wanna see top to bottom.
This is probably mayhems 3rd best bill in their history if you compare year by year.
im ok with it.

With the exception of avenged sevenfold I can't say I truly dislike any of the bands. And if tix are $20 as you say it's worth it if you like a couple bands. I'm not familiar with all of them, but I like more than a couple and it's cool to see some new bands that play early

I think the problem is they keep recycling the same artists. Body Count is cool. I loved their set at FFF. They're back after a long, long time. It's cool to bring out CC and Body Count for the kids to see, but I can only do so much of the metalcore. I liked last year's lineup better.

Hey DreamHeater, haven't read ya in a while. How have ya been?
I may look into taking my daughter to this, since she's really into AA. It would also be cool for her to see Ice T somewhere else than on L&O:SVU.
It will also be good for her to see the difference in performance between the old school and new school bands on the bill. I'd like to see CC, BC and Mushroomhead.

Hey DJ!
Been ridiculously busy with school. Haven't had time to spend listening to metal, really... I'm so behind on new releases that I didn't know about Carcass' new album until last week.
I guess when one of your majors is music you're supposed to spend your time listening to "cultured" music... I miss this place, haha

I remember what that was like to study your balls off and kinda ignore the outside world for a while.
Family and work can get that way too, but it's much more rewarding.
In other concerts, I'm hoping to go see Iced Earth & Re-Vamp at the Diamond Ballroom May 16th.

wow, I actually thought this was one of the april fool satires!
Really? Corpse and Count are SO incongruous with the rest of this mall kidz lineup
Oh and this is me making fun of ALL the trivial bands on this crap bill....BOOOOO! BOOOOO! boooo fvcking hoo ya damn foolz :)

This bill's actually pretty cool, i guess im one of those rarities that likes both death metal and non-generic core bands, i dont really like AA, but emmure is my sh**, and so is suicide scilence (even though they screwed over ASP), ive had chances to see cannibal corpse twice but managed to get grounded like the week before both times, so hopefully i can stay out of trouble this time :p
Also a huge fan of MM, Body Count, A7X (gasp) [even though hail to the king is stale like bread], and Erimha
I used to like Korn so idk, i wouldnt mind seeing them
definitley going to this show

Man this is some weak sauce. I was hoping for alot better. How does corpse fit in with asking Alexandria and body count and pretty much anything else there. APRIL FOOLS ON YOU CANNIBAL CORPSE! .damn I wish theyd drop off so id have virtually no reason left to.go. ( though I dont mind.trivium) bbbbboooooooooooo. This blows man.
