Ogre Releasing Fourth Album Via Minotauro Records

Recharged Italian label Minotauro Records has announced the upcoming release of "The Last Neanderthal" from Portland, Maine's heavy metal doom rockers Ogre on February 21st in Europe and March 8th in North America.

The band's fourth full-length release continues OGRE's splendid combination of classic proto-metal, a touch of '70s prog rock, and a heaping dose of vintage doom. "The Last Neanderthal" even includes a cover of "Soulless Woman" by a different Ogre, a '70s bar band from the Pacific Northwest.

Check out the video for album cut "Nine Princes in Amber" below. Ogre will celebrate the release of "The Last Neanderthal" with a CD Release show on March 14th at Geno's Rock Club in Portland, Maine. For show details, click here.
