The symphonic black metal storytellers from Carach Angren will unleash bold new album "This Is No Fairy Tale" on February 24th in North America via Season Of Mist.
The album is a pitch black story of isolation, degradation, and abuse whose narrative is as intense as the music that delivers it. The acclaimed trio weave grandiose symphonic swells and surges with razor sharp guitars to create an epic, unmissable record.
To herald the impending album release, today we've teamed up with the band to premiere new song "Killed and Served by the Devil" - check it out below, and be sure to let us know what you think of the track.

Was thinking the same thing as well - musically this is even better than the previous one. I always waffle though on whether the lyrics work as great stories (since they directly tell stories from beginning to end) or are too cheesy and would work better if they were more guttural and you couldn't understand them.

This song is absolutely terrible. I've been thoroughly disappointed from each release from this album. Their previous 3 albums were masterpieces. This album seems to be the product quickly written songs, poor producing, and a big (for metal) money grab. I was a Carach Angren fan, but no more.
