Ov Hell, the new band from Shagrath (Dimmu Borgir) and King (God Seed, I, Sahg, ex-Gorgoroth) has completed work on the band's first studio album. "The Underworld Regime" is due in early February 2010 via Indie Recordings. The tracks were recorded at Earshot Studio and feature Shagrath on vocals, King on bass, Frost (Satyricon) on drums, Ice Dale (Enslaved) on guitar, and Teloch (Nidingr, God Seed) on guitar.
"The Underworld Regime" was produced by Herbrand Larsen and mastered in Livingroom studios by Espen Berg and Shagrath, under the influence of the swine flu and Streptococcus, November 2009. King wrote all of the music for the album, while Shagrath wrote all lyrics with contributions from Silenoz and Sarah Owens. The Underworld Regime track listing is as follows:
1. Devil’s Harlot
2. Post Modern Sadist
3. Invoker
4. Perpetual Night
5. Ghosting
6. Acts of Sin
7. Krigsatte Faner
8. Hill Norge
Two rough-mix sample tracks from "The Underworld Regime" can be heard on the band's MySpace page.

The rough-mix tracks on their myspace are freakin awesum!!! Especially "Ghosting", it reminds me of "Sign Of An Open Eye" or "An Excerpt Of X". BUT BETTER!! Was so bummed to find out Shaggy would be doin vocals for this record, then heard it in action, i was mistaken.
It seems Shagrath only blows d***balls on his own stuff. But will this top the new Gorgoroth record? Probably not. INFERNUS AND PEST RULE!! AND GAAHL SUCKS!! LITERALLY!!

Did I mention that "Quantos Possunt ad Satanitatem Trahunt" is the best record of 2009? (cept maybe for "Gin") Well it is. And based on what we've all heard of "The Underworld Regime", it WILL be a major contender in 2010. Screw you "kvlt" fags, this is brilliant, atmospheric black metal. And you'll really enjoy it, though you won't tell anyone in fear of feeling like you've "sold yourself out". Homos. I actually like to hear the guitar work in my BM. Deathspell still rules tho, bring on the new record. Chaining the Katechon is freakin amazing
