New OvO song "Zombie Stomp," the veteran Italian duo's newest anthem of bare-bones industrial metal occultism, has come online and can be heard below.
OvO's Stefania Pedretti and Bruuno Dorella mark dark magic out of primitive industrial sounds and Pedretti's theatrically demonic vocals. Dorella pounds out minimal cadences on a mix of acoustic and electronic percussion, as Pedretti casts spells in her own arcane language –"there are no lyrics," she explains.
A combination of guitars and synths sets a driving, end-of-the-world tone. But as Moore notes, there are melodies to be found underneath the fog. "Zombie Stomp" appears on the band's ninth album "Creatura," due out December 9th on Italian label Dio Drone.

The genre defiant, avant experimentalists from OvO are pleased to premiere the official new video for "I Cannibali." The eye-popping 3D animated clip was created by the MegaBaita collective.
A meticulous creation from beginning to end, "I Cannibali" took a month to properly produce, including the construction of its many models, the animation and the final edit. The technique required the fabrication of more than a thousand moving objects in two minutes. Every image has been hand drawn on paper and only freeware programs were used in its manipulation.

Check out the new music video below. OvO will release "Abisso" on November 4th via Supernatual Cat. The following press release was also issued:
"Though OvO is a tricky band to pinpoint, it's easy to identify the evolution from Assassine's total improv to Cor Cordium's radical noise rock. Abisso marks a new artistic era for this eclectic twosome, formed by Stefania Pedretti and Bruno Dorella. There's a renewed richness to their sound, brought on by the use of samples, drum machines, pads, field recordings and synths. Cor Cordium and its predecessor, CroceVia, were veritable points of no return for their minimal rock designs, engaged in making as much sound as possible with very few elements: Dorella's half drum set, Pedretti's guitar and incredible voice.

With the help of Giulio 'Ragno' Favero at the mixing desk, Giovanni Versari's mastering, and the friendly collaboration of Gnaw's Alan Dubin (formed OLD and Khanate) and Carla Bozulich with her full band, Evangelista, OvO have crossed into new territories of extreme artistry." "We're proud to announce that OvO joined Supernatural Cat. OvO is not noise, not metal, not doom, not punk, not rock and roll, even if there’s a little bit of influence from all of these genres. It’s not free, nor avant, and definitely not improv. For once, yes, we can really say we can't file a band!"
