U.K. metal act Conspires To... has issued the following brief update about recording "Voice in the Storm:"
"The music is finally all down on Voice in the Storm, its been a trial but is sounding large on a biblical scale. The drums are bigger, guitars are bigger, bass meatier, and it has eBow and Choir adding an extra wide screen effect. Next task, is to get the vocals down, more on this shortly....."
The band also has several tracks available for streaming via the Conspires To... MySpace page.
Conspires To... Issues Recording Update
U.K. metal band Conspires To... has issued the following update about recording new material:
"Tonight has been excellent. Had a good go at Voice in the Storm, complete with Storm effects and choir! It is sounding massive, definitely the biggest thing so far, with more tracks than you can shake a stick at, all adding to the moody, brooding atmosphere.
"I have also had some inspiration of the lyrics front too. This is themed around people making a difference in the world, and how amazing it is that individuals can influence so many. How through all the noise a single voice can be heard, like a 'Voice in the Storm.' Well you get the general drift of it. Anyway back to it, the song wont finish itself."
Conspires To... also premiered the song "Falling Down" last month through Metalunderground at this location.
Conspires To... Issues Recording Update
U.K. act Conspires To... has checked in with the following update about recording new material:
"Progress is being made ...albeit slow. All my efforts are focused on 'Voice in the Storm' at the moment. The music for this is almost complete, just the bridge from the mid-section back into the chorus to go.
"Really pleased with the e-Bow on this as it really adds a new haunting dimension which is cool. This week will be all about the words and melodies. 'll keep you posted."
Conspires To... also recently premiered the new song "Falling Down" through Metalunderground.

Conspires To... Premieres New Song Online
U.K. heavy metal duo Conspires To... has premiered their latest song, "Falling Down," exclusively on Metalunderground.com. The song is available for streaming or as a free MP3 download below.
The band is comprised of vocalist Wayne Stokes and Lee Macey, who plays all instruments on the album.
Multi-instrumentalist Lee Macey comments on the song: "For Falling Down we slowed things down a bit and added an industrial vibe, all leading to a heavier overall sound, yet still retaining some of the atmospherics of the other material. The track is about all about the fragility of the mind. How once you have been knocked back and have seemingly recovered, it can only takes something small and insignificant to lead to you falling down again."
You can check out some more Conspires To... music on their MySpace page, including the recently revealed track "Allegiance."
Conspires To... Comments On Songs
U.K. based act band Conspires To... has issued the following comments on the inspiration for the band's songs:
"The mind works in mysterious ways. Sometimes I can go weeks with no inspiration, then get hit with loads of ideas at once. The inspiration can last a day or two, or for months, it all seems pretty random, and I could never really work out where the ideas were coming from. Then I started to have some really vivid and seemly random dreams, which would wake me up and leaving me thinking 'what was that all about.'
"I would mention this to my wife, who would start to offer suggestions as to what might have been the catalyst for these nocturnal visions. These ranged from pretty obvious things like, the movie we watched before we went to bed, to something someone had said, or somewhere we had been. Things sometimes tracked back to really innocuous and seemingly irrelevant happening.
Anyway this started me thinking about where some of my songs were coming from. Allegiance was started by the General Election and the World Cup, although I did n't directy have this in mind when I wrote it. Kill the King came to me whils mowing the lawn, probably nothing to do with that, although may it have had some parallel's with Stephen King's Lawn Mower man, but thinking back I had had a particularly crap week at work.....well it speaks for itself really. Conspires To... Comments On Recording Sessions
U.K. based metal act Conspires To... has checked in with the following studio recording update:
"Last nights studio session was excellent! We nailed Allegiance and Falling Down, plus did a full vocal pass of Death or Dishonour which I am dying to listen back to. We thought we were putting down a guide track for Wayne to take away, but I have a feeling that he may have nailed that one too.
"The night was really successful even with the a major set back. The room next door was being used for a drum clinic, and it wasn't until we were about 45 mins into Allegiance that we realized that we were picking up the guy next door playing Beat It by Michael Jackson on his drums! so we had to move rooms and start again......oh well we obviously work better under pressure.
"Mixing commences this weekend so should have something new to listen too next week. Also I am working on a video for youtube. Just a montage of bits and pieces with the artwork merging in and out, but you never know it may just attract a few more visitors!! Anyway I'll report back again soon."

Conspires To... Issues Recording Update
U.K. metallers Conspires To... have issued the following update about recording new material:
"There is a lot going on again, getting ready for the studio. Looks like Allegiance, Death or Dishonour and Falling Down will be ready for recording vocals this month, but I want to work on the backing vocals again so will probably only get two of these done. I have rerecorded guitars and bass on The Prophecy, and mixed it last night, so just need a spare couple of hours for mastering, and it will be up on the site. I have a couple of days of work so hope to get this done by Sunday night fingers crossed. I also some new ideas that I am trying out, so loads more to come. I'd love to know what you guys think so far, so drop me some comments and let me know."
