Gra Releasing Split With Gnosis Of The Witch

Iron Bonehead Productions is proud to present an exclusive split 7" between two shadowy black metal hordes: Gra and Gnosis Of The Witch. The split drops April 27th and the label also comments:

"Gra occupy the A-side with 'Valitus ja kaipuu' - burly yet drifting, tangibly physical yet seemingly not of this realm, shifting itself between trance and decay.

"Gnosis Of The Witch then occupy the B-side with 'Fórn Dauðaorð' - old as time, hideous in its hypnosis, ancient splendor stretched to the darkest limit. Together, both bands offer short-yet-sweet portals to the beyond..."

Gra Streaming New Song Online

Sweden's Gra, which includes Heljarmaðr (Cursed 13) and Dimman (Spazmosity), is currently streaming a new track online. The new song "Helfärd (att dö...)" can be heard via Gra's MySpace page. The band has previously issued the following statement about the concept of Gra:

"The aim is to capture the old school feeling that we miss in the black metal scene of today. The lyrical concept reflects the name of the band (Grá/Grå/Gray), aging, dying, dullness, the falling apart that is inevitable for all. We are now finished with our 4 track EP. It will be released during this summer, we have not yet decided upon how and when though. We are working on that issue..."

Spazmosity Drummer Forms New Band Gra

Spazmosity drummer Dimmand and Cursed 13 vocalist Heljarmadr have joined forces to form a new black metal act titled Grá. The band issued the following statement about their upcoming activity:

"Grá is a side project by Heljarmaðr (Cursed 13, Domgård, Utburðr) and Dimman (Cursed 13, Spazmosity, Svitjod). The aim is to capture the old school feeling that we miss in the black metal scene of today. 4 songs have been written and recorded recently and they will be mixed and mastered shortly for your fucking pleasure. The main thought behind the music of Grá is that it should be spontaneous and honest instead of calculated and innovative. The soundtrack to what we carry inside.

"The lyrical concept reflects the name of the band (Grá/Grå/Gray), aging, dying, dullness, the falling apart that is inevitable for all. We are, as already mentioned, almost finished with a 4 track EP. It will be released during this summer, we have not yet decided upon how and when though."

A Grá rehearsal track without vocals can be heard via the band's MySpace page.
