Darkwater To Play ProgPower USA
Darkwater has checked in with the following announcement about performing at the 2011 ProgPower USA festival:
"We were just confirmed for this year's edition of ProgPower USA! We'll perform at the festival together with bands like Therion, Sanctuary, Evergrey and Vanden Plas to name a few. We're looking forward to this a lot, and we hope to see many of you there!"

Italy's Eldritch has announced an appearance at the 2011 edition of the ProgPower USA Festival in Atlanta. The festival is set to take place from September 14th - 17th, 2011, and the currently announced lineup is as follows:

ProgPower USA XII Lineup Announced
The 2011 edition of the ProgPower USA festival line up has been revealed. The ProgPower USA XII event will include the first onstage performance from Norwegian progressive metallers Arcturus as well as performance from Therion and many others.
Therion's Christofer Johnsson commented by saying:
"ProgPower USA is definitely one of the better organized festivals we have attended and was a highlight on our first U.S. tour. We feel honored to have been invited again, and will prepare something special for the event, as this is the one and only chance for our US-fans to see us live in their country,"

Nevermore To Play Thrash Domination
Nevermore and Sanctuary are the latest acts to be confirmed for the 2010 edition of Japan's Thrash Domination, which is set to take place on September 18th and 19th at Club Citta. The other confirmed acts include Overkill, Exodus, Outrage, and Agent Steel. Additional details on the Thrash Domination shows can be found at this location.
Sanctuary Reunites To Record New Album
Nevermore's Warrel Dane has issued the following update regarding the reunion of his old band Sanctuary:
"Since I have been talking about this in interviews already I should probably just say it... there will be another Sanctuary record, been talking with Lenny... we are really good friends again and it feels good... I missed my relationship with him for many years... but NM is never going away so don't start any more rumors!"
Sanctuary Reissues Classic Albums On Single CD
Ironbird via Cherry Red Records will reissue SANCTUARY's first two albums, 1987's "Refuge Denied," produced by Dave Mustaine of MEGADETH; and 1990's "Into The Mirror Black," produced by Howard Benson, on a single CD on March 8. Singer Warrel Dane and bassist Jim Sheppard went on to extend SANCTUARY's ambition and songwriting into NEVERMORE.
