Shadowstrike Added To Warriors Of Metal Fest VII
The Warriors of Metal, Inc. non-profit organization, announced that newly discovered Long Island, NY power metal band, Shadowstrike has been confirmed for Warriors Of Metal Fest VII, which takes place at O'Sheckys Live Bar & Grill in Columbus, Ohio from June 27th-28th.
ShadowStrike guitarist and vocalist Matthaus Krais states: "We are all very excited to be a part of Warriors Of Metal Fest VII. This will not only be our first time performing in Ohio, but it will be our first time performing in the Midwest period. There are many amazing bands playing this festival and we can't wait to see them all perform as well as share the stage with them and of course bring our music to all the fans!"
The band previously posted "Gales of Winter" off their forthcoming EP "Infinite Power," which can be heard at this location.

Steel Assassin To Record New Album
Steel Assassin has issued the following update about working on a new album:
"Hello friends from Steel Assassin! We played a killer show 2/20 with friends Meliah Rage, Ravage, and Mob Hit at Whiplash in Stoughton, MA. The attendance and enthusiasm of the crowd was huge!! And we hope this will herald a new resurrgence in the old school traditional Power Metal /Thrash movement. If it can happen here, it can happen anywhere and everywhere. This must seem strange to our friends and fans in Europe, So. America and elsewhere because the Metal scene has always been strong. But here in the U.S. things have changed a great deal since the ‘80s.
"Our latest CD, 'In Hellfire Forged' has been selling well. High Roller Records has released a limited collector’s edition of the recording, and is almost sold out. Our video 'Burn Witch Burn' is getting some playing time in various Metal shows around The World. Now the band is getting ready to record our latest CD, 'Metal of Honor: WWII.' Steel Assassin has announced that they have finished recording their new album "In Hellfire Forged." The cover artwork for "In Hellfire Forged" can be viewed at this location. The album is set to be released in late October or early November.
