Prodigal Zoo Reverts To Twelve Tribes

Nearly two months after officially changing their name to Prodigal Zoo, Ohio's Twelve Tribes has dumped the moniker and reverted to their original name. Here's a statement from the group:

"Well, it's been almost two months since our unexpected transformation - and to be quite honest, it wasn't us. We changed our name looking to create another identity to accommodate the profound changes we have made in our music. But what we were missing was our history and our name, which we have worked for over seven years to establish. The response that we got from people who love the name Twelve Tribes and respect what we have done in the underground music scene was amazing. And for that, we are grateful."

Look for the group's Ferret Music debut, "The Rebirth Of Tragedy," to hit stores on May 4th.
