"For those of you wondering about the progression of Hatchet Dawn's new sound, we have posted on the Hatchet Dawn MySpace page Bert Cuzen's audition demo, which is his rendition of Hatchet Dawn's previously released 'Faith in Chaos' EP song titled ‘Perfect Parasite’.

"Along with the progression of Hatchet Dawn's new sound, we have also uploaded some new photos from two photo shoots that we did in June 2010. We are currently in the final stage of the recording process for our next release, along with preparing for an epic Halloween eve headlining the Espy Gershwin Room, for Creepshow 2010."

Hatchet Dawn Comments On Upcoming Shows

Hatchet Dawn has issued the following statement about the band's upcoming live shows:

"Hatchet Dawn will be performing at TRASH on Friday September 3rd supporting partners in dark music felony Witchgrinder. All Hatchet Fans that mention the band’s name at the door will get cheaper entry into TRASH.

"Hatchet Dawn will also be headlining The Gershwin Room for Creepshow 2010 at The ESPY on Halloween eve 30th October. More details coming shortly for Creepshow 2010. "The past month of June 2010 has been a busy place in the Hatchet Dawn camp, seeing the band recording an initial group of songs anticipated for the bands next release in preparation to begin collaboration with producer Neil Kernon. Hatchet Dawn Parts Ways With Two Members

Australia's Hatchet Dawn has issued the following update about parting ways with their vocalist and guitarist:

"Hatchet Dawn formally announces the unfortunate departure of 2 members in the band. Adam Stewart and Ben Boyle have decided to depart the band permanently, effective 27th January 2010. Hatchet Dawn are currently working on solidifying a permanent replacement vocalist and guitarist in preparation for a planned new official release in 2010. Hatchet Dawn will be taking this opportunity to re-invent the band's concept image and refine our musical direction into a fresh chapter of Extreme Hatchet Rock.

"Hatchet Dawn will be returning to Adelaide on Saturday 6th March to perform at Enigma Bar 3 with ISAW, Shot in Paris and Arcadia. Hatchet Dawn’s previous visit to Adelaide was during the Halloween Chaos Tour ‘09 while supporting Marilyn Manson at Thebarton Theatre. Filling in for this performance on vocals will be Rob Cuzens from The Symbiosist/Dialysis along with guitarist Darren Smith from The Symbiosist. "Celebrating an eventful 2009 an album sample track has been posted on the Hatchet Dawn MySpace containing various snippets of the bands newest material recorded during initial album pre-production sessions in July 2009. These are not finished or completed versions of the new material but are mealy a sneak preview of the intended direction and creative diversity the band is planning to show on the debut Hatchet Dawn album due out in 2010.

Hatchet Dawn Issues Recording Update

Hatchet Dawn has issued the following update about recording their debut full-length album:

"Pre-production has officially begun on the debut Hatchet Dawn full length album. The band spent one whole day recording the album in its entirety live in the studio with producer/engineer Sam Johnson returning to the helm to capture the new growth, epic, dark and scariest Hatchet Dawn material to date.

"No official release date for the debut album has been planned at this stage but a 2010 release schedule is indefinite. Hatchet Dawn will be spending time in the studio over the course of 2009-2010 between touring dates putting together the highly anticipated follow up release to the Faith In Chaos EP."
